EV - Reptar
The Reptar is an electric motorcycle design that takes inspiration from late 1980’s Buell Motorcycle horizontal shocks. It was designed and fabricated with a Honda 150cc dirt-bike frame. Then frame and the swing arm were then flipped upside down changing the orientation of the shock as well as the rake angel in the front of the bike.
The Reptar was created using few simple components: a permanent magnet pancake DC motor, 36 Volts of lithium ion batteries, a Curtis motor controller, solenoid, and a cool red key switch.
